Okrug Donji is a little village on the western side of the island Čiovo, which is just 7km from the historical picturesque town of Trogir on the mainland. The island is connected to the mainland via a bridge, in addition there is a boat line from Okrug Donji directly to Trogir. The island Ciovo is known especially for its beautiful secluded bays.
Additional recreational facilities and trips, as well as the well-known cultural and natural monuments of central Dalmatia all around Trogir and Split provide a range of options.
Owing to its peace and quiet, pristine nature, seclusion and the proximity to the UNESCO town Trogir, Okrug Donji is suitable for a leisurely holiday with the family, as well as a cultural stay. >
The island Ciovo is therefore a good starting point for visiting all the places of historical and natural interest in Dalmatia.
